We respond to emails as fast as we can, but this may take up to 2-3 days during week days and on the next Monday if you email us on Fridays. Please note, we take a very limited number of orders per week and we tend to get fully-booked up to 2 weeks in advance.

Note: In order to offer the best quality we make a limited quantity of customized cakes per day. When you ask for a quote we treat your request as a potential order and we pre-book your date; if you are not going ahead, please be kind and notify us about your change of mind to be able to use your possible spot with another client.     1. Cakes designs are protected under intellectual property. We can use other decorator’s ideas as guidance but we will change details, toppers placement, colours or tones to adjust it to our style and to respect the original designer.
    2. As the creators of art, the copyright owner (us- Chaly’s Cakes and Delights (PTY) LTD) has the exclusive rights in the art such as for reproduction. If you: buyer of our products, guest or bystanders, event planner, casual or professional photographer, take a photo of any of our products and we can prove you are getting commercial gain from it distribution without our permission and prior a signed agreement, we reserve the right to take legal actions.
    3. We are not liable for cake orders were the client request dark colours as reds, blues, or black colours, which can stain teeth and clothing or affect the cake’s flavour. Inaccuracy of colours like purple and special tones of any colour to match your decoration might occur.
    4.  When you order from our list of cakes and flavours, please notice that our vanilla cakes are Chiffon cakes; rich, moist and dense cakes with whisked and folded egg whites, Pound cake and Madeira cake style. Our chocolate cakes are moist, intense, rich and lighter. We don’t make sponge cakes, only by special request for specific reasons or for specific cakes as 3 milk cakes or tiramisú cakes.
    5. Outdoor display of custom specialty cakes are affected by potential outdoor issues that could adversely affect the cake such as poor weather, un-level ground, or debris/insects and it is the sole responsibility of the client.
